“Messenger” - from the Gods? This was made from a very dense, multi pronged hardwood root found in Scotland, and brought to me by a kind friend. A sizable piece, still : 25 x 19.5 x 13in - 63 x 49 x 33cm after work was completed by carving away about a third of the size and weight. The head and base started as driftwood from the South coast of England.
